Our Artisan Piquillo peppers are hand-picked and roasted over embers, giving them a distinct sweet and spicy flavour. They are subsequently peeled and grilled again for extra flavour and texture, then marinated in salt, pepper and olive oil and then de-seeded by hand, before being packed into jars.
Piquillo peppers are very healthy providing high contents of fiber, vitamins A, B, C and E.
The "Piquillo" red pepper is a variety of chili with a sweet taste and no heat, traditionally grown in Northern Spain (Basque Country, Rioja and Navarre).
